Daniel T Sasser II is the creator and lead architect of SIM-ONE Alpha, the founder and CEO of Gorombo, and the creator of the SIM-ONE Framework.

Daniel is a software and systems design engineer, independent AI researcher, and cognitive architect with more than 25 years of experience across protocol systems, network engineering, web platforms, automation, and AI architecture. His work focuses on governance-first AI: placing protocols, oversight, validation, context, permissions, and human authority in the system architecture instead of relying on model behavior alone.

For SIM-ONE Alpha, Daniel:

• created the product concept and governance architecture;
• defined how the SIM-ONE Framework is applied to an orchestrating AI employee;
• leads the product’s architecture, development, and release direction through Gorombo.

Project Ownership

SIM-ONE Alpha is developed and maintained by Gorombo as the base architecture behind Gorombo’s AI Employees. It is a self-hosted product that applies the SIM-ONE Framework’s protocol-governed approach on Flue, the TypeScript agent runtime from the Astro ecosystem.

These names identify separate parts of the project:

• Gorombo is the company that develops and maintains SIM-ONE Alpha.
• SIM-ONE Alpha is the AI employee product in this repository.
• The SIM-ONE Framework is the governance architecture applied by the product.
• Flue is the underlying agent runtime.
